RLI sold its aviation insurance division with purchase price dependent upon business retained by purchaser.
Two RLI sales agents began violating their covenant not compete which could reduce the purchase price to RLI. Obtained favorable judgments from courts in Illinois and Minnesota and from two arbitrators preventing sales agents from taking value of business from RLI. Case Nos. 95 CH 25 and 95 CH 26 (Peoria County 1995).
