Farm King purchased retail operating software from Horizon and then wrote upgrades for the software.
Rather than purchase the upgrades from Farm King, Horizon downloaded the Farm King upgrades while purportedly performing routine maintenance. Pursued copyright and trade secret claims against Horizon. Case No. 94 L 554 (Peoria County 1994).
